Gymfinity Team Members

Welcome to the Family

The following information is important to you. Every year we ask that our team families renew their forms, including registration.  Before beginning your team membership, or before renewing, please watch the videos. Even if you have seen them before, we feel very strongly that they are worth reviewing.

The first is Dr Allison Arnold is the USA Olympic Gymnastics "Mental Toughness" trainer (read as sports psychologist) and has been since 1998. Her insight here is invaluable. It exemplifies our team philosophy and our perspective on being a Team Family.

Please watch the next video to understand the safety concerns that you and your gymnast should be aware of. We do not ever take the safety of our children lightly, and we are very proactively involved assisting bodies like USA Gymnastics, US Gymnastics Coaches Association, and the US Gymnastics Club Owners Association in developing programming and regulations so that all clubs may be as safe as Gymfinity in this regard. *Note: Every Gymfinity coach is also required to watch this video.

The last video is long (1 hour) but we feel that it is very important information for you as a parent. It is essential that you understand and can discern between stern coaching and abusive behavior. It is also imperative information as you are the one that your athlete must be able to talk with if they are uncomfortable or have any concerns. Gymfinity is dedicated to providing opportunities for parents to learn and understand the sport, the gym, the coaches, and our philosophy. We have to work together to provide a positive and constructive opportunity for your athlete while here at Gymfinity. This video was presented by USA Gymnastics in 2020 and has been required viewing for all team coaches.
